APP UPDATE: NEW MATCHBANNER

APP UPDATE: NEW MATCHBANNER

We’ve made several changes to the match banner to improve the user experience and provide you with more options. For teams who have their games connected to a data provider (i.e. teams from EHL, SHL, HA, Eliteserien), all games will now be added automatically to the admin panel where you can further edit and activate them. For those who still use our internal ticketing system or play in a league without a connected data provider, games still have to be added manually in a similar fashion to before.

Communication

Within each match, you have the option to send push notifications that will take users directly to the game in the match center. Here you can navigate the push to the game, lineup and where they vote for their MVP.

Sponsor Image

We’ve made a change so that the sponsor image for the match is displayed statically, instead of fading in and out of the banner. This is done based on feedback from multiple clubs.

Buttons

You can now have up to three buttons available in the match banner, and we’ve given you more flexibility regarding what these buttons can be used for. You can also add as many external links as you want, which will appear in a “More options” menu.

Primary Button

The ticket button functions as a "Call to Action" button and will always be displayed in the club’s primary colour. Since there have been different opinions on what the text on the ticket button should be, we’ve made it possible for the club to choose the text for this button.

Secondary Buttons

If you select "Gamecenter," "Lineup," or "MVP," these functions will be shown based on the match status. Before the match: Gamecenter
When the lineup is ready: Lineup
After the match: MVP.
These functions will appear as secondary buttons in the match banner.

Tertiary Button

The last button will be the first link selected under “Add links.”

The remaining links will appear in a collapsed menu that the user can access by clicking on “More options.”

In the app, we have shown you how this can work in practice.

Create games manually

When creating games manually, you have the option to choose different statuses for a game, and you can update the game live with the result if you wish to do so.
